It will be recalled that Maren Ishaku Yobo who is the Frontline Runner of The Executive Chairman Bokkos LGC was one time a member of the State House of Assembly, representing Bokkos Constituency, and also the House Majority Leader. After his election in that office, he showcased his leadership qualities and admiration to public service delivery through numerous projects in his constituency. Remember he was sacked by The Court of Appeal on structural issues exactly 4 months after being sworn in as member. The Liaison Officer, Bokkos Constituency Hon. Maren Ishaku receives an Award of excellence at Plateau State University, Bokkos, on Friday 12th July 2024. The award presented to him by the Faculty of Social Sciences of the said university was to applaud his philanthropic strides towards the university students. Maren further unveiled the faculty billboard which will serve as a means of identity for the faculty. He further extends a goodwill message from The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel K. Dewan who was away for an official function. In a goodwill message, Dean of student affairs Dr. Felix Masok enjoin Hon. Yobo to continue to be a shining light to the upcoming generations.
